Announcing my poll gift card winner

In my last newsletter, I asked you to answer a poll. I said I’d pick a winner at random after a week and award them a $25 gift card. Well, I wound up leaving it open a little longer because answers just kept pouring in, but I thought I should finally call a halt and pick a winner. HM, I’ve emailed you with your gift card code – enjoy! 🙂

THANK YOU once again to everyone who answered my poll. The feedback was very valuable and will guide me in future books.

Jennifer just won a pirate’s booty of candy (and a necklace)

To celebrate the release of The Lady and the Pirate, I did a giveaway for my mailing list subscribers recently. After drawing the names out of a (pirate) hat, the winner was Jennifer from Pennsylvania, who won the pirate necklace together with as much British candy as I could stuff into the package. Here’s a photo of it.

I’m hoping that at least some of those chocolate bars aren’t available in the US and will be celebrated for their British weirdness. Congratulations, Jennifer!
